After a little cohersion, the dealer is making a start on heart transplant on Wednesday which is better than end of month previously advised, and have asked to be present when the engine and turbos are removed to see what the order of failure was. Dealer has ordered two new cats as the right bank of exhaust is dripping oil from centre joint. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I am told by LR customer relations that all replaced parts are covered by 12 month parts and labour guarantee, but did question them on this as EU law now says that parts are covered by 24 month guarantee hence Audi and BMW recently changing terms and condition. Still going to buy an extended cover even though, the gear box and suspension are about the only parts that will be original |

Great idea that you are getting the rest of the work sorted that needs doing whilst the body is off. ![]() |

^^^^^ I thought so especially when the two front to rear brake pipes are only 12 quid each. Alternator is precautionary but a pig to do in situ. |
