Mike, I thought your car was a MY12 (apologies if I've got this wrong), I'm assuming my car is a MY12 as its on a 12 plate?? If your car is a MY12 how have you done it??

13my is a few tweaks to the software, pretty much all related to Nav. Main things are downloadable POI's, lane guidance (road signs)and a few changes to the number of steps to 'destination entry' depending on where you are in the system.

No 2010 on software and 2012 on software is very different...2013 software has some enhancements on 2012, but almost is the same Mike

I'm looking forward to trying this - does anyone know if there's a way to enable and disable the audible warnings? For example, I might want to show fixed & mobile cameras, and traffic light cameras, but only have fixed cameras giving an audible warning.

Or turn all audio warnings off if they drive SWMBO to distraction! --------------------------------------

Yes you turn sounds on for each waypoint set you import. Mike

You import each POI file separately so I guess you can define each group as you wish.

I will have a look for you sometime, but I guess it is in the manual under Import POI?

Hi,

I got the file from pocketgpsworld.com and I downloaded the other - gpx file as instructed in an earlier post. I have downloaded it twice now just in case one was a genuinely corrupt file.

I unzipped it onto the Pen Drive, I see the two POI files on the RRS display and select the first one which waits about 30 seconds before showing the corruption the message and the second one displays the message immediately??
