No I just noticed that there were two I downloaded the Other UK file, I will try the one you have shown there now, and report back.

Works perfectly with the other file, what a dingbat I am, never ceases to amaze me how with two options I always pick the wrong one, don't think I'd have been a very successful bomb disposal expert

ok everything is working as expected however, for a mobile camera site you need to be notified a little earlier because by the time it has told you you have already been zapped??

I guess this is something the Sat Nav controls and we have no say in it?

The problem is that it is only a point of interest and the system sounds the alarm when you enter a "proximity circle" around it.
Not sure how big that circle is, and course the other problem is that is does not understand direction only your proximity to the POI.

So, it will sound an alarm even if you are coming in the opposite direction. Does that make sense? 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Yes I understand that, you just need a bit more notice for speed cameras so you have chance to address your speed before they/it sees you, but as you say it's not designed for that purpose

I wasn't sure whether the proximity would be controlled via the GPX file and thus a bit of tweaking and we could have increased the radius for these POI's.

I guess the easiest thing to do is not break the speed limit

I have not really used them yet in the RRS, in the previous car it seemed to be linked to your speed.
So the actual time in advance for the alarm to sound was the same regardless of travelling at a crawl or high speed.
I have always assumed that it was the software not the GPX data that controlled this.

I'm not having any luck with downloading the files, I have registered on the pocketgpsworld and there is a set of blue tab across the webpage, one tab says Free Downloads, from there I'm lost as I can't find Other GPX, can someone email me the files or are they really large?

Log in with your user ID

Hover over the the "Speed Cameras (download now)" blue tab and click "Download Speed Cams")

This will open a new screen

Scroll down to the Sat Nav system selection

Now you should be able to select "Other GPX"


Ta Daaa

Login and I get a blue tab that says Speed Cameras (subscribe now) still can't find other gpx  If you've got it, spend it!
