Severed head(light) wiring mystery

With the O/S headlight unit removed for a bulb change I found this mysterious two part connector hanging loose in the space behind the headlight. It has blue and white wires coming into it (from what appears to be the headlight wiring main loom) and just the severed ends of two green wires protruding from the other end. What can it be and should I worry about it?

The connector has a lug similar to a fir tree and the only obvious place to locate it is alongside another part of the loom as shown here:

There's no corresponding severed green wires sticking out anywhere or anything else that looks odd.
All the lights work and the AFS dash warning light only comes on briefly during the system check which I believe is normal.

As people seem to love pulling their headlight units out to modify them I'm hoping someone can look at theirs and tell me if this is just an unused bit of wiring or something that has been bodged by some previous miscreant. Maybe it is unconnected (pardon the pun Rolling with laughter ) with the headlights but there's nothing that is obviously malfunctioning. As usual any help gratefully received. Thanks. The best suggestion so far Laughing Just looked at a new brake pad wear lead and it does have a similar but not identical connector on the 'non-pad end'

Would explain why everything appears to working and why there isn't a corresponding lead behind the other headlight (sorry - forgot to mention that in the OP).

Suppose if test both severed ends and one is live and one is ground then connect them the dash light for brake pad wear might come on? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Connector for the TPMS sensors Thumbs Up

The green bits are not severed wires, they are rubber seals to prevent water ingress into the wiring loom

Thanks Mikey. I'll stop fretting about it Thumbs Up Note you were too kind to point out I was wrong about the pad wear function. Light comes on when circuit is broken - not when it is made. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
