Towing a caravan mpg

Hi,

What mpg could i expect from a 2005 td6 sport towing a single axle 1.3 ton caravan?

Ive done a search for this and only found one thread from a few years ago but that was a big twin axle beast.

Ive been lurking in the background on here for a while and not bought a sport yet, ive had the full fat version but the mpg from the v8 made me sell it but missed it ever since.

Since derv prices are going crazy i need to put me sensible head on. I pulled the caravan with my mums rav 4 and it took the mpg from 51 down to 21 but id expect to get that from a RRS so thats my logic.

Been from yorkshire im as tight as they come!!

My V6 did @ 23/25 towing a twin axle 1565 kg van. V8 does about 26 with a 1440 kg twin axle. Hope that helps. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

That's for the help!!

That's what I was thinking that the RRS would have less trouble pulling the caravan therefore losing less mpg than a car that got a smaller engine.

Donnington park is a really good track, I've got a zx10r track bike but have only done one trackday there as cadwell park is my local track.

The entire outfit including kart probably struggles to reach 300 kgs. Depending of course on how heavy you are and guessing you are not a cadet Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
