I see on the MY14 launch that the drivers instrument screen is colour, so I guess they have borrowed bits from the Evoque parts department. I've not seen any settings to change to colour.

To be clear - it doesn't really bother me either - I was just surprised given so much of the interior trim/controls etc seems to have been lifted straight from the Evoque for MY13 (and perhaps before, not sure) - which is no bad thing btw! - that LR didn't use exactly the same instrument panel screen. The graphics are nigh-on identical, only in B&W. As I said, the only thing that I really feel would benefit from colour is the nav directions.

I believe the screen appeared on MY10 cars (I could be wrong) with the Sat Nav directions becoming available on MY12 cars. I have an early MY12 car and it's monochrome too, so nothing to do with you car being a 'Black Edition' ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

The next gen RRS has the full TFT screen in colour not just the single info screen Mike
