Mine only came to £95,515. I decided to go for a 5.0 V8 and more or less fully load it because otherwise I would get chronic FOMO* every time I see a new forum topic entitled something like "My new RRS - what do you think?"

http://rules.config.landrover.com/jdxl/en_...ayoff.html

I have the £515, so absolutely no problem there. I just need the £95k now.

Well I spec'ed an HSE Dynamic to a modest £75.5K, with some bits I could happily live without but thought looked cool - that sunroof Cool

They sting you when you spec the rear seat entertainment / multimedia stuff though Shocked

I'm just glad it can be spec'ed without those shiney crash plates front and back to avoid looking too much like the Evoque. 2016 VW Golf GTD DSG

At those prices this RRS will be my last........great car but once you get near £100K it's not worth it.

Bentley for me next. Cool

OK so it isn't an RRS but there are several owners of Barolo Black Evoques who have posted photos of their cars over on babyRR.com

Here's one that will give you an idea. Not sure what the difference between Barossa Black and Barolo is, they look very similar.

and another that might not be to everybody's taste...........

Thanks for the pictures. So it really looks like red flakes on black. Very interesting.

Rather like Audi Royal's config, I've also used Causeway Grey. Looking at the rear this colour seems to make the back of the car less Evoque and more muscular...and though the configurator doesn't seem to place in the privacy glass, this colour imo gives the vehicle a bit more of a stealth bomber attitude rather than the Evoque Sport appearance that the pre-launch photos suggested. What do you think?!

http://rules.config.landrover.com/jdxl/en_...ayoff.html

If the privacy glass could be included in the config, this would look quite mean and moody.

Edit : I think AR's colour is Corris Grey?

Causeway Grey is just mean and rude. I love it. But I need the car for business too, so I will go with Corris Grey. Yeah, privacy glass will lift the car into stratosphere. I would go with different wheels in your config., 21" split spoke 5 diamond finish really goes well with grey. Also, in Quatum of Solace (Bond 21 film) in Boliva the grey RRS has back windows tinted to standard 35% (percentage of light it goes into the car, smaller percetnage mean darker tints) and front windows to 60%, it doesn't work if car is black or white, but it works like magic if the car is grey.

Interior should be black with black headlining. Pity Land Rover doesn't offer contrast stiching that would be a nice touch.

I saw in Germany RRS SVD6 2012 with bespoke Alcantara black leather interior including headlining, it was the most beautiful RRS interior I have ever seen, it wasn't tasteless, it was just perfect, this is something Land Rover should offer on Autobiography models.

The idea of 20" wheels was that the tyres possibly will have a deeper profile than 21" wheels, so a slightly better ride on the UK'S roads. Not sure if this is the case, but final build doesn't have to be in till a couple of months before del date.
Went to a LR dealer today to get a bit more info. I have 2 vehicles in potential p/ex , a TDV8 RRS plus BMW 335ci , so either I'm going to put a deposit down, apparently 3k, for a new RRS for Sept/Oct del and use to the cars in p/ex at the time, or maybe p/ex both cars soon against a 12 plate D4 and get a guaranteed price for the D4 against the new RRS with a limited mileage of 7500 , losing perhaps 2k on the D4 for 6 months. The idea behind that is the the bimmer will be worth more now than in Autumn, and my RRS will depreciate by 1-2k over that period anyway, plus its ex warranty.
If the latter doesn't work out, then will keep both for the next 6 months, put a deposit down for the new RRS and take my chances on the p/ex nearer the time.
In the showroom was a new FFRR TVD8 in Causeway, privacy etc with piano black interior. Magnificient! £99000 though. With these new models, the colours really have an impact +/-.
