It all depends on what you want to spend. I have had Warrantywise Platinum cover, and were ok to deal with and they do different levels of cover depending on your budget.

Land Rover warranty every time. But they are the most expensive but you need a good dealer to go with it. Stratstone has a very bad name on here. Good luck. MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.

Approaved used car warranty through land rover is just over £1200. I was quoted today by dealer " fixing "'mine. Requires a 150 point inspection before it can be applied if out of cover.

Always best to read the small print about what is covered.

I have warrantywise gold cover and for roughly £300 for 12 months I get unlimited claims up to the value of the car with 3k per claim and can be used at any vat registered garage. They have a good reputation for quibble free claims. I think it's a great compromise of not paying through the roof for a warranty but being covered on all the major expensive things! |

That doesn't make sense. Unlimited but 3 grand a claim. Am in dim mode tonight but 3 grand wouldn't cover engine replacement 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Thanx again for replies. I'm going to have a look at the AA Gold cover today and probably end up giving them a call.

Just to update..... After a load of internet searching and hair pulling out and trying to work the bloody mechanical jargon out I "think" I'm going to be inclined to go for WarrantyDirect. I dont suppose anyone out there could shed a little light and news on them by any chance before I take the plunge, it would be so much appreciated.

Know Scotty has one and trying to get an engine out of them at the moment. Not sure if it is the dealer or the warrenty that is holding process up. Am sure he will be along to enlighten us shortly. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Land rover select covers you up to 10 years or 100k miles. It's not cheap but its paid for itself with my tdv8. Good luck! RRS TDV8 HST

We had initially chosen Landrover Select but the Dealer Principle at Stratstone talked us out of it saying there was quite a few things that wasn't covered that really ought to be and its the DP here that has encouraged us to go out and do some research and find one better and in doing so he was going to contribute 50% of the costs.
