My sport does at best 300 miles on a full tank, 70 litres. 4.2 petrol is thirsssssssty............! |

As opposed to what - 70mph down the motorway ![]() ![]() mpg shown (average fuel) doesnt change at tickover, in fact it would technically reduce the av mpg if left running for a while. Sorry i have no idea what point you are trying to make. Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

After 2000 miles in the last 4 weeks, of mixed driving, average is 28-29mpg. Have seen 35mpg on the motorway with CC on at 70mph. Then again im running 22" wheels so its probably not totally accurate.
