Well as previous posts had the car three weeks, new battery after the first three days of ownership.
All is well, or so I thought.
Over the last week I have noticed when I floor the car for overtaking etc, The warning gearbox fault light comes on then car goes into limp mode, not every time though???
Stop car turn off, restart then all is good again.

After looking a previous threads this is common, is it the alternator not charging the battery or do I request software upgrades.
2009 59 plate TDV8 new shape.

Could be alternator. Could be something like a dodgy potentiometer on the accelerator pedal. Needs to fault codes reading really. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
