They were changed the middle of last year and I cannot see that these parts are fit for purpose under the sale of goods act as the car hasn't even been off road! If it had of then they would of supposedly worn out quicker!

Are you saying that the lower arms were replaced, under warranty, less than a year ago? If so, they should still be covered by the 1 year parts warranty irrespective of any other warranty situation.

Apparently so, I am trying to get in touch with Lookers Land Rover Service department in Park Lane but whenever I phone they are always busy so the receptionists says they will get someone to call me back but no one ever does so will be trying to get in touch with them tomorrow as they were the dealership that fitted them about 9 months ago. There is no way I am paying for this as there parts are obviously not fit for purpose as they should last longer than 9 months or even a year!! Like simple1 said, his car had 27 lower arms fitted in 18 months, That's one every 6 weeks!! How can they possibly put this down to wear and tear!
Kensta do you not agree that they should not wear out this quickly?
RRSTDV8 they probably took them off there warranty as it was costing Land Rover too much money to replace them! Why they cannot design a stronger 'Fit for purpose part' i will never know.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

If the part was fitted less than 12 months ago then it's covered by a 12 month warranty. I don't think they get a choice on that.

Look here: http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/lr/owners/s...ine-parts/

If the parts they used ar genuine LR parts then the parts are covered. You might have to argue about the labour charge I guess... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I thought land rover parts carried two year guarantee if you buy them. If you have a part replaced under warrentee, and don't pay for it, it has no warrentee on it according to LR.
May be I am confusing things here with Audi. I know my RS4 had a fan fitted and replaced 18 months later with no question or issue. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜
