how "positive" is the change on them? and does it shift any quicker? i always thought it strange that they put all that tech on a bike but still have the same method of changing with the gear lever. Love the Mavics!! my fave wheel! cheers dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! Gears change VERY quickly and 'positively' Dave, you can add or dump gears faster than the normal cables (I have Shimano Ultegra on my winter bike), they are also a lot smoother when they do change. The other advantage is because it is cable free, there is no adjustment needed, as there are no cables to stretch, so once set up, that's it. I looked at going for 11 speed Di2 Dura-ace but at £300-400 for a rear cassette....I decided against it Mavic SL's are lovely, I didn't realise how much difference a decent set of wheels make, but they transform what is already a fantastic frame into a tremendous bike.
