if you havent charged the battery (on a proper charge) since having the alternator replaced, then that would be the first thing.

Just had a quick look and looks impressive and well designed. Has anyone used them and know where they can be purchased from and how much? TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

I have used it before. Works very well. Plug and play and gives you an indicator of the battery level in a nice white LED. Turns it self on and off |

The car worked fine for 1 day but today at -4 c I started the car the interiorlights and radio started going on and of like a puls. Got the adapitive lights fail on and then the parking break.....after a 6 min drive the car got warm and when coming back from the store everything was good again....Strange!!!! RRS 2006 2.7 HSE |

Your battery will take the 14.7 v charge no problem, the charger will sense the battery voltage and set the current to suit the status of the battery. It sounds like you may have some other type of fault somewhere unless of course the voltage regulator on your new alternator is dodgy......is it a genuine LR Alternnator? I think its a genuine LR alternator...after a test I could see the voltage was about 15.8 and down to 13.0V
