The excuse(reason) it had an intermittent ABS Fault - actually for the past 10 days everytime you started the car it lite up like a christmas tree so the only time it does not is when at dealers - and they wanted to recreate the fault, the driver was workshop supervisor so not a young kid nearly my age.

No real apology just "doing my job" was not looking at the speedo & it must be really boring to drive as 1500rpm doing 50 the speed limit on the road outside the dealers.

What a load of Censored , I do not drive at over 90 so why the Censored do they need to, I get the fault when I start the car.

I might be being unfair but had I not asked to speak to the Service Manager - given they were told last night - they would not have said anything.

My fault for using them I suppose - never again Paul

Pc plod would not except that as an excuse, so why should you, neither would the MD of the dealership, Mr. Green

Now what you should do is to video the playback of the screen when you play the video which will show the roads and speed. Title it appropriately and then withouit editing the sound, put it on youtube.

there'll be no copyright issues as you are entitle to video what youwant Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Arctic Frost

PJB,

May I recommend James French 4x4 in Standlake if you're in the Hartwell Oxford region?

I'm not connected in anyway with them but I too had an appalling customer service experience with Hartwell Oxford and thought I'd try JF who I'd vaguely heard of.

They're quite simply superb.

Hope that helps... 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE in Artic Frost. 20" 2010 HST Alloys, sidesteps, Hawke tips, plus minor bits and bobs along with a remap. Four spike spiders ready for the Alps again now tucked up in their garage boxes...

Let me get this right....

If i took my car into them reporting steering wheel vibration at 125mph as a LR approved dealership they would more than happily test the car on a public road at that speed to replicate my driving Rolling Eyes

Utter Censored .

My route home takes me past a cluster of main dealerships, LR, Merc, Toyota and Audi to name a few and quite often a road test vehicle often thrashes past me, winds me up and they aren't even my cars.
It simply boils down to lack of respect for other peoples property.

Have you considered going to the police and see what they have to say on the matter. At the end of the day it is illegal and he was doing more than 200mph over the speed limit. Automatic 6 points and possible driving ban!!!!!
He would look at the speedo then!

Blimey 200mph over the limit!! ..... And next years winner of the Formula 1 world championship is LANDROVER Thumbs Up Wink Bow down Laughing Laughing

Seriously though, josh is right. I think i'd be inclined to inform the Police... especially after the very shoddy response you got from them when you challenged the dealer about it. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

I was thinking of asking them for a quote for some work to be done. Perhaps I'll ask for the vehicle not to be test driven as if it was stolen.

Seriously, I bet if they get a few people mentioning it to them then they'll certainly take the whole thing more seriously. I think businesses still forget how easily people can inform large numbers of other people about bad service these days. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
