New tdv8 owner doncaster

Picked up my 08 RRS tdv8 last night and I'm blown away it's stunning such a nice drive and I'm loving the toys especially the adaptive cruise, bought it from here http://www.parkwaymotorgroup.co.uk/mobile/...ails/1852/ anyone know any history? No mods planned yet just going to enjoy and fingers crossed for more snow!! 2008 RRS TDV8 java black on black leather 20" wheels

On day 2 of ownership myself, alternator aside the loud pedal is awesome when just pootling along at say 40mph then stamping on it... Shocked

Alternator problems? Iv read a few posts on here about dodgy alternators should I be worried? I'm an ex army mechanic so planning on doing any work and servicing myself, I'll be keeping the car a long time so not too worried sbout service book stamps 2008 RRS TDV8 java black on black leather 20" wheels

I have the same but changed grill, side vents and colour codes te numbers and lower grill. Chech out my gallery. Welcome and great choice. . TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

Seems to be a common fault on the TDV8, getting mine fixed tomorrow, the new RRS apparently has 2 batteries to cope with the juice it needs!

yeah I agree but they were on when I bought it and not too unhappy with overall effect. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

I love the chrome mirror caps! I think they go nice with the grill and side steps, maybe if I get bored of the looks if a year or so I'll go for a blacked out look and get everthing colour coded but for now it stays, the mrs would kill me if I told her I wanted to change anything after ranting on about how much I love it the last few weeks lol 2008 RRS TDV8 java black on black leather 20" wheels
