Does over 50,000 miles on the first set of tyres count, one of the second set needed changing at around 80,000 due to uneven wear, the rest of the tyres still looked new. Plus within the 80,000 miles there was two sets of front pads and one set of rears, no disc change needed. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit |

I must drive like a complete twonk then lol. Have had three sports, all on 20" stormers and never get more than 20k out of Tyres. Do tow a twin axle caravan all summer and a car trailer which might explain brake wear but not Tyres. They always wear evenly 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

If you can afford the extra 40quid a month for the TDV8 then go for that. The 2.7 just doesn't cut it unless you want to drive like a nun on diazepam 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

There are some cheap 3.0 Litre sports on the market at the moment if you can stretch to a 3.0L |

2.7 still a nice place to be pottering round,I dont feel the need to be throwing a 2.5T vehicle round.Motorway speeds are no problem, plus I got 33.4 to the gal.on a trip to Southampton and back.I borrowed a TDV8 for a couple of weeks when looking for mine a couple of years ago,for me it wasnt worth the extra 10G I would have had to pay.I paid cash for mine though but I doubt It would have made me change my mind if it was on finance. |

Agreed. The 2.7 is more than adequate for what I want. A RRS is never going to be a 'fast' car so I'm happy not to go fast in it!

I'm tending to agree with this school of thought. I'm going to search for an 09 2.7 HSE, should get a bit more for my money too. |

It's 2.7 tonnes for a V8. But it all depends on what you want car to do. If you intend to tow, get a V8, have to disagree that a Sport is not a fast car, have surprised more than a few with mine. But either is a fine vehicle to cover ground comfortably without drama. It's really down to personal choice and budget. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

TDV6 with a performance upgrade will surprise more than you might expect in the 30-50 overtaking range. Fuel economy better too (without too many of those overtakes...)
