Spain

Remove the turbo hose at the engine inlet manifold end, see if the will engine start, if it does then check the remaining turbo pipes for de-lamination, the inner wall of a turbo pipe can come unbounded from the outer layer and block air to the engine. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

I've seen this on 2 TD5 intercooler hoses, the inner lining of the hose comes loose from the outer, then when you ask the engine to rev it sucks the inner lining of the hose together and therefore strangles the engine of air, this then causes tons of black smoke and the engine cant breath so packs in,as someone else stated, try disconnecting the inlet hoses from the engine and see if it runs

As you've only had it a week take it back to where you bought it or was it a private sale?

Remember, she will NOT rev as easy as with the turbo pipe disconnected you are running the engine minus the turbo. However the fact that she will now run is a good sign.

Next option would be to replace All the turbo pipes and clean the intercooler out.

Then try again, if that fails, then sorry, but it's a dealer visit. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
