2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black
Sast Nav DVD Player

I have an updated disc for my Sat Nav, which is located under the passenger front chair. Question, how do I get the CD out of it. Its mounted forwards. I took the front kick plate off, the plastic one, and there is a metal panel riveted in place so I cannot actually eject the cd. Why the heck isnt it mounted backwards for ease of access?

Any ideas?

Do you have to unbolt it and move forwards? It has the retaining brackets on the side?

I've just gone out and looked

take the kick plate off (plastic)

then move the seat forward 10"

make sure the lock slider is set to unlock

then there is plenty of access space to get the old disk out and the new one in (from the front not back)

Ill have another go, when I tried the cd hit that metal plate that the kick panel clips to. It dosent seem to move so couldnt work out how to get access to the cd. Thought it would be a crazy design otherwise.

Spain

Simple, just lift the seat as high as possible and as far forward as possible, you will then be able to see ALL of the NAV unit In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Got it, thanks for the help. The plate slides forwards with the seat to give you the access needed. All taken care of now.
