Thought I had found 'the one', unfortunately although listed as a stormer spec eds, it was the based on the 's' model, so didnt even have heated seats! Was an immaculate motor, just dissapointed with the spec, my fault as I assumed it was an HSE, and we all know what happens when you assume ! Lesson learned and the search continues!!

The pre-10my Stormer was indeed based on an 'S' specification. The post-10my was based on an SE.

I've just fully converted my Sport to 2012 Autobiography spec and its ended up costing me an absolute fortune. Way more than I expected.

You really need to change the interior aswel if you are going to do the 2012 conversion because that is where you will be sitting. But then it becomes cheaper to buy a facelift model. |

A very tidy example even as a base model.

To those saying it's way more than just a bodykit - really? Change the front and rear bumpers, front wings, and the various lights. No change to the interior or the mechanicals. Just a change in the exterior look. So a bodykit.

Maybe I'm a little defensive because I've just emptied my pockets on doing the same thing as this guy

To be fair guys, the car was immaculate, low mileage adn well pampered. I could of drove it away for just over 27k, just couldnt live with the spec. The conversion (all exterior) incl stage 3 colour coding plus brand spanking new 22" Kahn RSLs was completed at a cost of .......£8200 at a LR approved bodyshop. I understand he was trying to recoup some of his money, just wasnt going to get it from me. Current transport : Audi S4 V8 Cabriolet, Suzuki GSXR600 K1

I think this is the problem with some of these conversions. People think that because they spend £8k then the value of the vehicle is increased by £8k too. Sadly, I doubt that it happens that way very often. Sure Kahn et al do conversions but they have a name to add that people buy in to and that adds value that helps resale. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
