The EGR system was developed to help bring emissions levels down to meet EU regulations.

Blank off,it costs pennies,run it for a bit see if you like it/it stops your issues.If not replace the egr's. |

Blank them off. You will never know about any further EGR issues, as they are effectively disabled, and at only £10 for a pair of blanking plates, its one of the cheapest RRS/D3 fixes you can do |

You need to do some research on how EGRS work - they are closed all the time (just like blanking) except on trailing throttle where it allows exhaust gases into the combustion process to reduce emissions - except when they are broke and locked open, EGRs have no impact on heavy acceleration and neither does balnking.
