Presumably a fault code will have been stored. I read somewhere the list of fault codes and a huge number of them just seem to be for spurious voltage readings (either signal voltage too high or too low). It could just be one of those caused by momentary glitch in the system. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

As modern cars get more complex warning lights that reset after you restart the engine appear to be common Rolling Eyes

I have had this sort of thing since my 2004 D2 on every vehicle since - if they reset and Amber I just see if they happen again but if they are red I get them checked Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Amber light are for minor issues to be checked. Car can be driven with care

Red lights are critical and the car should not be driven

The handbook will tell you this Thumbs Up Mike

When you applied the electronic brake, did it squeal for about 5 seconds or so?

I've had the yellow light come on but only after the car tried to apply the brake and it squealed and clicked beforehand.

When I apply mine, sometimes it grabs and holds and other times it squeals.

I think there has been a post in respect of the handbrake as it appears to be a common thing with these and discos. What was wrong with a good old lever!!
