Auto Switch Wipers

Hi, As we have had the first snow of winter, and icy mornings. I thought it might be a good idea to remind everyone to switch off the auto wipe on your wipers.Because when you switch on ignition and the wipers are frozen to screen, it will try to wipe. And possibly tear the wiper blades. or put a strain on wiper motor. Sad itisme

2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Made this mistake on my old sport, passenger wiper worked but drivers side stuck and didn't work even after the thaw Big Cry
Turned out the teeth on the spigot connecting the wiper arm had stripped Shocked
2 options - new spigot (no doubt a costly dealer job) or lots of PTFE tape and tighten the nut as much as possible.
PTFE won and had no problem since Thumbs Up 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant
