Hi, As we have had the first snow of winter, and icy mornings. I thought it might be a good idea to remind everyone to switch off the auto wipe on your wipers.Because when you switch on ignition and the wipers are frozen to screen, it will try to wipe. And possibly tear the wiper blades. or put a strain on wiper motor.  itisme

And it fills the car up with snow Tend to reach in and start the car rather than sit in when clearing snow so been treated to that more than once. Must make an effort to clear some cr•p out of the garage and park the bloody thing back in its kennel again. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Made this mistake on my old sport, passenger wiper worked but drivers side stuck and didn't work even after the thaw
Turned out the teeth on the spigot connecting the wiper arm had stripped
2 options - new spigot (no doubt a costly dealer job) or lots of PTFE tape and tighten the nut as much as possible.
PTFE won and had no problem since  2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Atlantic Grey, replaced with 2018 Frost White Outlander PHEV, can't fault em - now gone
