Got my first little niggle with my RRS :-(

So, ive had my RRS for a couple of weeks now & I have to say i'm loving evrything about it Very Happy

Evil or Very Mad Apart from the blue tooth Evil or Very Mad

Why does it kick in as soon as you unlock the car with the key fob and is there anyway of stoping this so it doesnt kick in until the ignition is started (like every other BT equiped car)

When ever i'm walking to the car and on the phone, the BT takes over the call as soon as the cars unlocked even though I cant talk as i'm not even in the car, nor have I started the ignition, which leads to me talking to myself and my caller talking to my empty car, this is also a problem after locking the car as the BT stays active and my iphone keeps switching to it.

Yes, that can be really annoying, it is like that on all RRS up to 2010 I believe.

I updated mine with the Bluetooth module from the Discovery 4, an easy job, it solves that problem, Bluetooth on when you turn the key and off when you remove it.
I believe this is the only way to solve it, plus it gives a couple of other improvements. '08 RRS TDV8

What was the part # for the D4 module?

I think I'll do this on my RRS as well. What's the PN for the D4/LR4 module ?
