United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
New Steering Rack

Amongst the other things MY13 RRS is currently at the dealers for, one of the issues has been it pulling to the left.

The dealer has been unable to rectify by a 4 wheel alignment.

Thy have contacted LR about this and have been advised to fit a complete new steering rack Shocked Shocked

The car has only done 5k Shocked

However still driving about in 'The Westminster'!! Laughing and loving every minute of it (full comparison report between RRS & FFRR to come when I've finished with it Very Happy ) Owner of MY13 RRS Red Edition, Santorini Black, Ebony with Lunar, Privacy Glass & Exterior Design Pack

Thats shocking Shocked my dealer took around 4 attempts to get mine straight Whistle but i have noticed that its slightly out again only by about a few mm's down on the right Rolling Eyes i havn't hit any potholes or any kerbs either Whistle my front brakes have started squeaking too, but only when i come to a near stop. Hope the new rack solves your problems. Thumbs Up

Although good that they are replacing the parts, I can't help but feel that they are just unskilled at the alignment Whistle

Be careful or they will tell you that you drive it too hard. Been there had that. My dealers had numerous goes at getting steering right, even blowing tyres up to odd pressures. Eventually I read the LR workshop instructions and put it on our bear system will full tank of fuel. Does give option to add 100kgs to drivers and rear offside footwells. After this the car drove straight, didn't pull and steering wheel spot on and stopped the car eating tyres every 4000 miles.
I now drive Westminster as daily drive, great way for getting from A to B but the sport is much more fun hence why I kept hold of mine. Do like the predrive heat up feature, got to get me one of them on the Sport. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Had my motor in today for its squeaky front brakes and found out that there is a TB (Technical Bulletin) for the Disco & sport, Action, replace front brake pads. So if you have a 2012/13 disco or sport (Diesel model) and your brakes are squeaky then it might be worth getting intouch with your dealer. Had a play in an Evogue while mine was in for repair, not my cup of tea but if you want a car instead of a 4x4 then an Evogue might just be the motor for you, drives like a car, handles like a car, and next to no bigger than an average size car
