Has any work been done on the door at all? Wondering if the plastic sheets that seals the inside might be letter water in behind the door card

I would put my other half in the car and put an hosepipe in various places around the bulkhead if no leak is found then work it up the side of the windscreen untill your other half sees it pouring in If it doesn't come in once you have covered the screen try either the sunroof and the door seals, just because you have had new ones its not impossible for them not to leak. The only other time ive head of such a wet carpet was on a FFRR when the A/C or heater matrix corroded and sprung a leak behind the dash causing the carpet to get wet. Good luck. |

From the questions i asked in earlier postings i was trring to figure out if the door membrane had been messed about with and not put back together correctly. If you've had a new window regulator, lock or wing mirror then it's likely that the membrane wasn't put back together properly.

I had exactly the same problem last year, soaking wet drivers floor mat, searched all over and couldn't find the source of the water. I dried it all out and touch wood it has never happened again! |
