Swapped 2008 HST for 2010 3.0 HSE with 6000 miles

I have been lucky enough to get a very low mileage 3.0L HSE as a replacement for my 2008 3.6 HST. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how good the 2010 car is. It seems like a much more refined motor. Much better in the bendy bits, sharper brakes, really nice interior, and I have to say I am enjoying the engine more than I expected to. So all around pretty impressed.

Sorry, not up to speed with with that. I like the car but I obviously need to figure out how to refer to it properly Sad

The 2010 car is so much better because it the TDV6 not the TDV8 Banging Head Thumbs Up

There are a couple of people on here that would blindly say the TDV8 is better than the TDV6... Mike

Don't want to get caught in that debate. I liked the V8 for sure, particularly the grumbly growl, but have to say the V6 I have now is pretty damn good. I am surprised how much of a difference there is the two cars overall.

It would be great to get an informed comparison between the V8 & the V6 from a new V6 owner, who was not part of the original 'debate'.????

I have had a V8 for a few months now & love the car, obviously the many attributes that everyone appreciates , the V8 rumble being one of them......
But......
I recently drove a 2012 V6 demo.... With all the latest tech improvements and it is a totally different car.....better in Many ways and on the whole a very improved driving experience. I will definitely consider a newer model in the future, after I see what the 2013 new model brings .......
Anyone who has owned both willing to be impartial amd list the pro's & Con's???? Whistle TDV8 HSE....Gone but not forgotten ....class act
Cayenne S diesel.....850n/m....385bhp....the danglies ...
