thanks gather the the tdv8 is the one to go for over the tdv6 are they a more reliable engine

there is little difference in reliability of the lumps, the TDV8s "suffer" popped alternators sometimes, for example.

i didnt think you could replace the accuator rod on a turbo, at best you just give a shed load of freeing and lubrication agents and hope for the best 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |

your proberly right it says on read out fitted new acctuator 3 studs gasket o ring washer/ oil tube . but touch wood seems ok at mo

LR issued a tech. bulletin in 2010 and then made available an actuator kit last year to supersede the need for replacement in some situations(details on D3 post).

hi ended up buying the 08 one its for wife, she wanted java black with alpaca interior also she chopped her merc in, also got 12 month lr warrenty paid 21,500 maybe got one cheaper but she was bit worried about getting a warranty and also colour she wanted. paul paul |
