I'm sure there must be a full stop in there somewhere Rolling with laughter

As for the fuel thing, not heard of that before.
My advice would be to look around for a better one if you have doubts, there's plenty about.

+1 on Nik's advice, if in the slighest doubt then don't. The low fuel thing sounds like bo Censored ks to me! Typical Crapstones sales pitch.

there is little difference in reliability of the lumps, the TDV8s "suffer" popped alternators sometimes, for example.

the salesman is LYING to you - low fuel does not activate limp-home. There is something wrong with the car and surprise surprise he is telling you anything he can think of to gloss over that fact.

given he works for Censored I'm not surprised.. they once told me suspension tolerance between corners (meaning the heights) had a tolerance of 30% Rolling with laughter Whistle ============
2010 TDV8 HSE - ooo laa laaaaaaaaa
2007 TDV8 HSE - superb car and very reliable
============
2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!

Confused i didnt think you could replace the accuator rod on a turbo, at best you just give a shed load of freeing and lubrication agents and hope for the best 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

LR issued a tech. bulletin in 2010 and then made available an actuator kit last year to supersede the need for replacement in some situations(details on D3 post).

LR wrote:

Lack of power, P132B or P132E stored in the PCM (Powertrain Control Module)

Possible Cause:
Clevis bolt seized into the actuator arm.

Action:
If seizure of the clevis bolt is identified as the root cause, the current service repair is to replace the turbocharger assembly.

Turbochargers are now supplied to the latest condition containing a greased actuator pivot arm/bolt.

Cut off vin numbers are as follows –
Range Rover - AA316114 (3.6 TDV8)
Range Rover Sport – AA229558 (3.6 TDV8) and AA232709 (2.7 TDV6)
Discovery – AA526504 (2.7 TDV6)
