Hi, purchased a 2009 RRS HSE just over a Month ago and since the weathers been turning colder the Car is taking longer and longer to start. The Engine turns, doesn't appear to be struggling but takes a few seconds to start. It went back to the dealers today who checked the Alternator and Battery - the charging circuit appeared fine but the Battery (on JLR diags) shows (from memory, something along the lines of) 'Battery ok but needs additional charge'? The dealership says an additional charge would probably fix it and that standing on the forecourt for a couple/few weeks prior to being purchased has had an impact.... All sounds a bit odd to me - any ideas?

Hi , I've had the same problem with my RRS.

Started taking longer to start recently and has fired alsorts of errors.

Going into LR monday.

Let me know how you get on pls. I've had mine on charge all day and it's still the same. The local LR garage (who are very good from what I've seen) have asked me to carry on charging over the weekend and they'll replace the Battery on Monday if it's no better. '10 RRS 5.0 SC
