Sometimes when I jump in the car to start it the brake pedal is rock hard,it seems to have lost it's vacuum,so much so that it's hard to start the car(obviuosly the pedal needs to be down to start) had LR assist out to it once(AA) asked if they think it's got a leak he siad no I must have just pressed the brake pedal after switching it off, well it's happened too many times now to be that. Any ideas? There is no gurggling or any other obvious faults 10 TDV8 Santorini |

having to push the pedal before the engine will start is supposedly a safety feature (just like having to be in Park). If you don't push the pedal, but push the start button, just the electronics and radio come on.
