Fuel Door won't Open at times on My 2005 RRS HSE

Fuel door won't open at times on My 2005 RRS HSE !!!
Please Help

As I have stated in My title, at times I push the door in on petrol door and it won't open likes its still locked. I push it in a few times and press the Lock/Unlock on the Central Locking several times and eventually it opens, had this several times

Please Help

Have you tried giving it a good clean then oil/greasing the locking bolt Question ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Where is the locking bolt ? I can just see a square bar that goes into a hole !!!!!

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

The locking actuators can be guilty for playing up. Reasonably cheap to replace, if not a bit fiddly Thumbs Up

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I had this on my 2005 HSE too, a few times whilst abroad too!

LR changed the solenoid and it has been fine since. LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

I don't, no. They are not expensive, and take around 10-15 mins to fit if you have not done one before Thumbs Up

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

This has regularly happened to me whether in my D3 or now RRS.
I doubt there is any issue here...if you stop at a fuel station, and are not quick off the mark, the car goes in auto lock on the passenger doors and fuel cap. So, you have to unlock it via the fob. I've then found that you then have to unlock it again to push the flap in again. I guess its something to do with the auto lock settings..
