I'm going to be taking the + & - from the 12v power plug that faces the rear passengers.

its a real PITA tbh, you'd be much better getting power with a piggyback fuse from Fuse 58.

Yes, it's either an ign live or an 'awake' live, cant remember of the top of my head, but either way, it's perfect for running gvif or retro fit BT units. Bodsys Brake Bible
