2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Orkney Grey

DVD TV Functions

We've acquired a 2010MY TDV6 with DVD and factory fitted Rear entertainment screens.

It does not have the TV function does anyone know if this can be added by a software upgrade or is it also a change of hardware?

it is more than soft. need digital tuner. can retrofit with non OEM. I got mine from CKO and TV works fine. Also unlocked DVD shut off while care moving.

AB, dvd shut off... did you buy the wiring harness to get this to work? £100. Tv tunner.... plug and play? cost? thanks

Yes cable to keep DVD running was about 100GBP and digital tuner (CKO) for TV + install was in the 500GBP. Got the tuning shop to do the job. Lazy me and from experience of doing it on my BMW previously. Saving was not worth the pain...
