Its true that changing rear anti-roll bars (lift body; not remove), turbo-chargers and/or exhaust manifold gaskets require body off (3/4hrs) but its quite rare.

As above, buy one from a LR Dealer with a full warranty and don't worry...... Gone:

get one preferably still with manufacturers warranty (3 years in UK) and if not add on another year (about £800)

You can get an extended L/R warranty no problem if you motor still has the manufacturers warranty, and is due to run out, however, if your manufacturers warranty has expired, then you can still get a L/R warranty providing that your motor has a full service history and you will have to pay for your vehicle to be inspected by your local dealer to check that there isn't any nasty surprises for them before they sell you a warranty. |
