I've never been one to care what other people think.

Ive been after a RRS for a few years now, been looking at all the alternatives, but it always came back to the RRS , it just looks the best and since i bought it , it has proved a great drive , i seriously considered a Cayenne & have been to the Porsche offroad track at Leipzig and tried one round there, great car and it can also perform on the track as well BUT the RRS wins it on its Chunky looks and performance on the road, its a great design and looks to be improving at every update. looking forward to the next one, i will be ready to move into a newer model by the time they are a couple of years old...... its just the dog's dangles.... i love it so far .....

I'd agree with most of what's been said. As I've only been an RRS owner for 6 weeks perhaps the negatives are still to come but the more time I spend behind the wheel, the more I love it and the happier I am that I cancelled the order for the Cayenne. And that is what the bean counters (sorry BC) at What? can never factor in to their sums. |

Looks like the Sport did badly in reliability terms too. Not that we needed to be told that of course...

That'll be me then Yes they certainly have a wide appeal. I don't think that reliability would be as big an issue if LR didn't sweep common problems under the carpet and frustrate the owners. Saying that I do 99% of the work on my cars myself so I've been happy as Larry with mine so far (touch wood). If LR just pretended they cared a bit more then they'd have much happier customers! |

I currently have a Cayanne loaner while my sport has some body issues sorted, brilliant 3.0 diesel (VW) very quick, economical, handles like a sports car, but bottom line is I couldnt live with it long term, I can't wait till the sport comes home |
