Hi guys,

I've just registered with the site after buying a rr sport 2.7se 2006 model. So far so good with the car, it needed a bit of tidying up but only cosmetic, ie bumper towing cover missing, load space cover missing a lug, cup holders up front missing etc

Hopefully I'll be able to get some tips and tricks from existing owners with solid sound advice when I run into difficulty.

I have previously owned a p38 4.0 hse.

I'm located in west Yorkshire not too far from skipton.

Hi......

Hi Guys,

POSTING FROM THE NORTH..

One more relatively new boy here on the Forum, which is an excellent medium for new owners to get to know the little possible foibles of the marque and what to look out for in the future....priceless!
My car is a 2009 TDV8 HSE , it's a great machine , great presence on the road and so far only a short ' offload ' excursion around a wildlife park or two...... Not really offroad yet..!

It's also made me start looking at other LR machines, something tells me this is not going to be my last one....wish I had bought one years ago instead of just thinking how good the looked on the road...

Anyway, look forward to reading all the posts & topics on here, there is never a dull lunch hour now!

TST

Central locking ?

Hi everyone. I recently purchased a 4.2 supercharger and it's a dream to drive. One minor problem is the remote central locking is working intermittently.Sometimes the passenger door and one rear door fail to open with the remote. Drivers door opens all the time and everything works. Could this be the battery starting o fail ? Or what else ? Hope someone can help, Regards 1860 Gavin.

Hi Gavin, welcome to the site Thumbs Up Its a common problem with older models i'm afraid, its probably the door lock itself, they tend to break internally, new lock required about £165 fitted from a dealer the last time i had mine done but you could get an independent garage to do it cheaper i guess. But get it checked out before you shell out on new door locks.
