^^^ This - or get some Finish Kare 1000P. Give them a thorough clean, then apply and watch the dirt/brake dust just fly off with little more than a pressure washer and a regular car shampoo solution |

Gtechniq's C5 or FK1000P are light years ahead of the Autoglym 'sealer' products IMHO

I disagree - Having used Autoglym products for 7 years now, they are not only adequate for the job - but perform exactly as you want. I would firmly advocate them, other than the provision for allegedly 1yr + "protection" on the c5 (although autoglym have a longer life than I observe) i couldnt see how they are any better, or worse...equally you cant nip down and pick it up from the local shop. They are also double the price I pay...that at least 1 negative point Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

Thanks everyone, pads are getting changed Monday, I have had them checked and they were very poor, why would someone do that to such a car just to save £30 or so?

I find as long as the wheels have been cleaned/polished/sealed/waxed then all I have to use is autoglym car shampoo and rinse.

To back up Beancounters previous post.............Finish Kare 1000p (FK1000p) High-temp sealant is truly an amazing product. Been using it on my wheels and paintwork as well because the shine and protection is amazing.
