2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Baltic Blue

Egr valve replacement

Got a 3.6 v8RRS which I have just purchased its a 07 sport and I have been told egr valves are a problem with this model is this correct

Its is correct but no need to worry until it comes. Depends on miles, etc. Was qouted for potential repair 600 eur so nothing dramatic. Above all it does not harm the engine...

186,000 miles and my left side just went.
NZ$ equiv is about 500 quid.
Reading a lot of posts here you can get them blanked off but leaves the engine management light on.
Ive decided to spend the money.

I've just bought myself a blanking kit to keep in the car in case an EGR valve does go....only takes a few minutes to swap - better than having to wait for recovery
