Great thread this X5 - Looks on the surface of things that a higher K's oil burner is often higher in value than 1-2 year newer petrol variant.

cap clean is the trade value Read earlier comments where i explain what the trade assume as a cap clean car. My opinion for whats its worth if you can get anywhere near cap clean u should bite the dealers hand off. Suspect your going to be looking at offers around 2k behind the cap clean. Good luck |

older S/C is a great buy, they are fetching from 12k-16k at auction dependant on miles which is a hell of a lot of car for your money. Earlier HSE's were as well spec'd as the S/C... downside is obviously fuelling it. Ive had 4 S/C petrol sports my self. Your right however at the TDV6 HSE's are retaining a greater % of its value in the last 12-18 months than any other. TDV8's are dropping a bit quicker now with the introduction of the 3.0 TDV6. I might do a buying thread in the next few days.... as during my hunt I've found better deals on the private market than at auction |

cap retail 25500 cap clean 22700 as mentioned elsewhere . buck blue is a hard colour to shift so you may find part ex / private sale prices a little behind the above figures |

Hi x5pea - a bit of a reverse valuation request here - looking to buy a new 2013MY RRS and have had a most acceptable finance quote based on a 2 year deal and with 25k p.a. that gives, to my mind, quite a low Guaranteed Final Value - one that would certainly not put me off considering to buy it at the end of the term.
