Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

I dare say Alcon would be a tad cheaper if you really needed extra stopping power (on your car it sounds like you needed a new set of discs/pads, as Brembo are about as good as it gets!) Alcon fit brakes to Special Ops land rovers and Paris-Dakar vehicles, so that would be good enough for me!!
The khans are very nice though Thumbs Up

I used to run Brembo callipers on AP Discs on my first track subaru - couldn't fault them Smile By that I mean 30+ minutes out on track with absolutely no fade & I didn't drive slowly - £1500 the kit fronts

On my second subaru, ran AP Racing 4 pots on the front and again, they were absolutely faultless - £1500ish iirc

If I were to recommend an upgrade to the RRS brakes, then it would be AP Racing 6 pots for the fronts with a fast road compound pad - pagid or mintex. Should come in sub £2k

Rears should be ok with a pad upgrade. If you did u/grade them as well, AP Racing 4 pots.

Braided lines all round recommended too.

Millions of pounds of R&D, and they still suffer from fade during spirited driving...

Do they do AP brakes for the RRS?
I too had them on my P1, and couldn't fault them, would be intrested in fitting them to my sport.

Doesn't mean they're the best for the car though. Beancounters will have got involved to make sure the total price of the car remains acceptable to the market it's aimed for, every part on the car could be probably be upgraded for a better item if designers were given free reign and the price would be that of a MacLaren F1.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the Brembo calipers were off the shelf, rather than custom-made.
