Broken Wheel but brace ?

Anyone else had a wheel nut brace supplied on a RRS 2008 or similar ? tried undoing a nut and it split at the top end on one of the joint where the nut end pivots ! nearly broke my arm when it gave way !
seems like a design fault if you ask me !

just bought the RRS - so hopefully the mainstealer will replace it under the Warranty. Will wait and see what happens then see if I can reenforce it by welding on some extra steel ! It was the rivet that broke which is a joke for "tough" motor and Censored tools !

Wheel brace is crap and mine sheared like butter. Also had to remove locking wheel nut that was ruined by tyre shop. Now that is a job!!
