The 2012 RRS loaner did the power loss on roundabout last night and nearly got T-boned Shocked

I have also found a guy with a D4 experiencing this Rolling Eyes

I have a fault with my new Landrover and the dealer Harwoods Croydon is not taking it seriously as they say it is my driving style. The car will sometimes not accelerate when stopping at junctions and the dealer says that it is caused by me. I think the problem is that if you brush the brake peddle or are too quick from one to the other the computer says no!!! If any one else is having this problem please email me and we can take it further. Gharris594@aol.com Glenn

I have been in discussion with James@Lookersparkroyal on a D4 but that and new RRS may be off my list now Big Cry

Anybody else had this issue Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Had this a couple of times when I got the car early on MW, it's not done it for the last 4k miles (now on circa 6k), so I assume it was an unfortunate side effect of the car 'learning' my driving style Confused

Thats the one - had it on mine for the last year on and off but all the time for the few occasions I drove it in the last 2 months - last night was out of the blue and got some abuse from the guy who nearly ran into me Twisted Evil

SWMBO is refusing to go in it now because she would have taken the impact on her side - can it get any worse Big Cry

I had the foot to the board and saw the guy trying to sneak out in the gap but could not get out of his way then a massive roar and g force Rolling Eyes

This is unacceptable - worse one happened easter crossing a gap on A19 with cars coming at you doing 80 - no joke Thud Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

MW - I've experienced this is both BMW's and Audi's too, so it's not just a LR/RR problem. Neutral
I think sometimes no matter how clever the computer 'thinks' it is, it is possible to confuse it and junctions/roundabouts do seem to be the place it happens.

I will say though, my RRS was in no way as bad as my BMW's (both 520d and 535d) now they were peoperly life threatening Shocked ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ive experienced this on a few autos...its almost all down to the car learning as once i told it with the paddles what i wanted it stopped.

Incidentally, when my 2011 did it i flixed down kept my foot where it was and it was away...it might be something to do with not using 1st to pull off normally as well. Anyway certainly something that goes. Mike
