The only concern I'd say is if you're taking the time to split your headlights, make sure you get some quality LEDs in there, otherwise you'll only be re-splitting them in 3 months because the "cheap" ones have stopped working  RRS gone

I know that is my concern too. But it really was easy taking the lights apart once I left them in the sun for a while

The cheapies are pretty bright in our African sun though. Will report in a couple months.

Now I need ideas on what to do with my D3 lights. Am gonna detango them immediately, but would like to put some DRL's in as well.

It doesn't matter really... I have (ready to install due to size cock up by CA Automotive) 2 120mm and 2 106mm,

At the time I suggested 2 pairs of 120mm rings I thought my 106mm rings were too small... but it actually turned out CA Automotive sent me a 85mm and 95mm ring and not 2 106 rings as I though.

Looking at my 106mm rings I think they are fine and will probably look better than 2 equal sized pairs.
