Any good suggestions for insurance recommendations? I can do the usual online search engines but wanted to know if there are any specialist companies that I should call.

By no way specialist but just renewed cover with Tesco

We do a fair bit of European travel so have their Euro Plus Breakdown cover (£147) included for a total premium of £550...(First Edition S/C)...and customer service have been great to date  BMW 530D 2011 still here

Do people bother with trackers - I am hearing a few stories of RRSs stolen to order?! Not much fun!

Direct Line were good for me (I got a 25% second car discount by insuring the Mrs' 500 as the first car).
I did go for a traker for piece of mind, although I don't want nor expect to get it back should some scrote take it, but for a one off payment of around £600 it seemed acceptable on a £60k car  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Tracker or not is an interesting debate...some insurance company's expect you to, some dont, some there is a saving.

Often the savings ive seen dont justify the installation cost and then there is getting it back after its been thraped

2014 Facelift Discovery

My insurance is with LVE (through Frizzells). Fully comp, both of us as business use, guaranteed NCD and they've just dropped the renewal price by £80 to £480. And they cover for green lane use too.

They did require a tracker to be fitted when I bought the RRS. I got the LR one with lifetime subscription. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Just a note.

Green lanes are public highways - all insurance companies have to cover you on them as such...off road sites are the difference. Mike

Just change to LR they aoofered an extra 10% off for new customers or will pay the cancellation fee with your current company, good price as well, better than anywhere else.

Admiral offered me a good deal on my MY12 HSE, but were absolute When I had a run into me whilst I was stopped.

I have no NCB for this car as its being used up on 3 other cars all of which are quite specialist sports cars where I have trackdays on them, so I can't get a multi car as I need the other 3 to stay insured where they are so I get 15 trackdays of cover and the guys I insure with are no good for a RRS! ! DM

I insure with admiral on multi car policy & come up for renewal in September so might look around if - or did I miss one - on claims - Can I ask what the problem with them was so we might all avoid ?
