Got this gadget fitted on the RRS but although it works fine using the timer and the remote fob it doesnt stay on for more than 5 minutes using the manual selection on the Nav Screen.

Its been into the dealer numerous times now, since Xmas, and LR have suggested changing various parts but still doesnt work in manual for longer than the 5 minutes. Frequently the manual start button doesnt light on the screen either so no heater.

All the manual says is manual selection can be selected as required

The ventilation option works whenever selected.

LR refuse to confirm if they know the full operation design of this feature and a comment from LR customer service is that the dealer should know. Well the dealer will only know if they are told

So at present the dealer is pulling out all the stops to help but without knowing the operation design they are hamstrung.

How can a gadget be fitted to a car of this price if no-one knows its true operation? One comment is that it may have been fitted but not supported in UK spec cars

I never use the touch screen operation ,just the remote fob
Using the remote fob as long as the outside temp is below 5 degrees (i think)the FBH should kick in for around 20-25mins
Otherwise it will just be the ventilation fan that will be running
