PAINT TOUCH-UP - need advice

My 2006 needs a few stone chips touched-up. I've got the Gold Mayo paint stick and I've tried to 'spot out' a couple of chip marks and made a right muck up of the job!! I would be grateful for advice on the best way to approach the job. Andrew Andrew Kennedy

Use a cotton bud stick. Cut the stick in half on the angle to make a point and use that to fill the chip rather than brushing then use the bud end to remove any you spill. We mix the paint with ronseal quick drying wood varnish to act as lacquer when we do it ( I work for Revive mobile body shop ).
