I either plug my iPhone in to the ipod socket (under arm rest) then select the tracks from there OR I connect it via bluetooth - not had an issue

I have thou not been able to rename tracks that I have copied form a CD to the HD

Rather than burn the Mp3's to disc, instead put them on a USB and plug into the socket in the cubby lid.

I had problems like this with both an Ipod and USB stick when plugged into the USB/Ipod port.

Only a few tracks on the USB were recognised and they skipped or stuck

The Ipod locked up after each track.

This was after I had just got the 2012 car.

I took the USB stick, reformated it on my PC and download a new, clean set of music (ie. no deletions or data files on the USB stick.

I factory reset the Ipod and reloaded it.

After doing this both were fne. I suspect that the RRS could not cope with the deterious of normal operations that had built up on both devices and needed a clean file system
