Has anyone got pictures where you have upgraded your amps and subwoofers ?
I am looking for ideas for where to put everything.

An upgrade from what? Assuming you have an HSE, which no doubt comes with the H/K setup, I, personally, have found this setup to be perfectly good.

I have a H/K setup in my BMW, which has a crackly tweeter. I looked into an upgrade for the tweeters ONLY.

In a box that goes in the boot up against the rear seats. Full height and width of the 2 rears that fold down together so it ends up being quite shallow.

If you were to fold down the rear seats, you will see a little flap and there is a load of space under there so thats where the amp goes.

All in all, its pretty unobtrusive - although the sub is also removable just in case

Can you use the existing sub woofer amp on a RRS to power an aftermarket sub cabinet? Whats the power output of the amp, where is it and what connections does it use for outputs/signals etc? Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.

I think if you are going to the effort of fitting an aftermarket sub, you should use a proper amp - I would be surprised if the existing one would do it justice

My point exactly. Whats the power output of the standard sub and what are the connection types?

My Disco has great aftermarket sub woofers and I'd like to change the ones in the Sport if possible. They just can't handle the low freqs at high volumes....everything rattles as well.

Not sure what ratings the speakers or amp is but I doubt it will power your 2 12's. Will be very loud with the correct amp/s
Been thinking of upgrading mine but not really looked in depth at it yet, hse spec is ok but crap at higher volumes

A somewhat related post and just a piece of advice, if you are changing your current car audio, do it with Pioneer, if you can afford of course. No other company can match the quality of the music pioneer devices produce. It is a matter of opinion, somewhat, but I have had different brands installed in my previous cars. And pioneer was th best. And I am talking serious music here, proper 300 watts front and rear speakers, 4 channel amp, min 3000 watts sub and mono amp for the sub. Etc etc. lol I used to think I ruled the world driving in the city centre that was long time ago. Seriously innit Vadim A.

Pioneer head units are very good, the speaker range is average at best. You can get a lot better quality from other manufacturers for the same or less money.
