Might be worth asking Pete if he'd do a group buy on one of his FBH controllers RRS gone

I've contacted Pete and he's willing to reduce the already fantastic "forum only" price of £199+VAT to £175+VAT if we can get a minimum of 10 orders.

Kit 1: The FBH will be fully fired up and warm so as soon as you start the car you will have warm air from the blowers

AFAIK the Evoque doesn't have any form of diesel powered heater, the cabin heater is a low voltage PTC system that uses a ceramic element that heats up very quickly and there is no diesel powered engine preheater unless you have a Scandinavian spec car with the winter pack. In winter, even on the coldest mornings, my Evoque is up to normal running temperature within 5 minutes of starting the engine and if there isn't warm air coming out of the vents within 30 seconds of firing up then there is something wrong with your cabin heater. As a back up I also have the heated seats and steering wheel to fall back on! I appreciate that you may be looking to pre-warm the cabin but I'm not sure that Evoque's electronics would allow the system to run without the engine running (as you will be aware it shuts down the audio automatically 10 minutes after you have pressed the on button with the engine turned off to save battery power because the meridian system draws such a huge load off the battery) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |
