Put a bit more air in your tyres if you like throwing around roundabouts, it helps it not scrubbing your tyres off so much, i would of taken it back to them and asked them to put your original wheel back on and given them your tyre depth readings. |

UPDATE - I am now informed that the reason the space saver was on when the car returned is because the technician considered my tyre non-safe to drive with

Send an email with a link to here to the service manager to see what he or she might have to say about it, and I think they need to change your tyres back for free after the hassle and embarrassment it has clearly caused you. What's the name of this establishment? I want to know so that I can avoid it as their "technicians" (aka otherwise-unemployable idiots) apparently have no idea what a tyre is, let alone a safe one! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

A well worded letter/email to the manager should fix things, especially when you tell them your writing to watchdog aswell lol |

You should be very, very annoyed indeed. Don't go back to the same garage again all they are doing is to try to rip you off! Funny how they still call themselves technicians... |
